概要
In this episode of UnqualifiedPk, we talk about a kind of faith that doesn’t get much airtime — the faith that lives quietly in the background.
The kind that shows up every Sunday but sits against the back wall.
The kind that loves Jesus deeply but doesn’t want a microphone, a platform, or a stage.
We unpack the tension many people feel in church and Christian culture:
the pressure to be visible to be considered “faithful”
the assumption that obedience always looks public
the guilt that comes with not wanting the spotlight
and the fear that quiet faith means weak faith
This conversation is personal for us — because we’ve always been “back row people.”
Not disengaged. Not checked out.
Just drawn to stillness, safety, and faith that doesn’t perform.
We talk honestly about:
why being seen spiritually can feel uncomfortable
how church culture sometimes confuses visibility with obedience
why God often does His deepest work in the unseen
how faith can be strong without being loud
and how comparison and performance quietly distort our view of faith
Using Scripture like Psalm 46:10, Matthew 6:1–4, and 1 Samuel 16:7, we’re reminded that God isn’t looking for a platform — He’s looking at the heart.
If you’ve ever felt:
“I love Jesus… I just don’t want the stage.”
This episode is for you.

Not everyone is called to the front row.
