 B&L Automotive Repairs is a family-owned collision repair center in Chicago, Irving Park neighborhood with over 45 years of hands-on experience in the auto body industry. The shop was founded in 1978 by Bernie Schatz and Lou Stein, who opened the original location at 2853 West Montrose Avenue with 6,250 square feet of workspace and a deep focus on serving their local community. When Peter Rizzo came on board in 1981, the growing demand for their work pushed the team to relocate to their current 12,500-square-foot facility at 3830 North Kedzie Avenue, where a crew of 16 employees expanded the shop's capabilities into collision repair, fleet work, and rental services.
