このコンテンツについて
In our tenth "Ask The Expert" session, we're joined again by Ciaran Martin, Former CEO and Founder of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in discussion with Dr. Rois Ni Thuama, Head of Cyber Governance at Red Sift.
At the tail end of 2022, Australia was rocked by two significant cyberattacks, namely the Optus data breach and Medibank. We catch up with Ciaran to learn what he thought the Australian Government, Law Enforcement and Media had done well, and areas he thinks there could have been improvements. They discuss aspects of an effective response to ransom attacks.
Listen for the full discussion where Rois and Ciaran expand on: Nation-state involvement in the attack How governments have historically handled cybersecurity legislation and Nation-state actors Ideas on how we can improve breach reporting, policies, and legislation in the future
