• Episode 14: Our opinions on: Living on 3%, American Horror Story & Nails
    2025/12/17

We are The Almost Experts — and this episode is… exactly what you’d expect from us: unhinged, oddly heartfelt, and somehow productive.

We start with technical difficulties (because of course), then immediately pivot into: dead mom jacket lore (with a tissue in the pocket that will never be removed), being sick AGAIN, and our very serious TV take of the week: we do not want to watch ugly people have sex. Respectfully.

    From there we get into:

    • Who the hottest actors are (14-year-old us vs current us)

    • American Horror Story trauma (pointy… chrome… thing included)

    • Germany travel countdown + nail salon chaos

    • The internet’s obsession with the Jon Hamm trend

    • Bonnie Blue getting arrested (and our complicated feminist thoughts)

    • Taylor Swift surprise-dropping Rep TV like the billionaire menace she is

    • Zach Brown Band at the Sphere doing… demonic underworld visuals?? (Chicken Fried?? hello??)

    • Anxiety mornings, flight turbulence, and saving Xanax for the flights that get weird

    • Why cats are better than dogs (and why Whiskey is basically a soulmate)

    • High-person thoughts without being high (aka: do we all see colors the same?)

    • Being an NPC, time-traveling, and the MC Hammer concert lore we didn’t know we needed

    • Holding your nail tech’s hand by accident (because it’s intimate, okay??)

    • The unsettling “hot Christian TikTok guy” and the fake baby doll moms of the internet

    • And yes… the return of sperm eyebrows + the camo puff vest/tank top combo (pray for us) (Picture of Morgan's Eyebrows on IG Highlights haha)

Also: shoutout to Fusion Home Loans — getting deals done, making it happen, and somehow still having a good time while doing it.

  • Episode 11: We aren't who we were last year (Thank God)
    2025/11/26

In this episode, we’re wrapping up our Thankful Series by looking at how much can change in a year — in our careers, friendships, motherhood, grief, and how we see ourselves.

We kick things off with a Friday night catch-up from the Fusion Home Loans office (shoutout to our people 🥂), talk about “money-producing activities,” PTA burnout, kids’ school events, and what it’s like to work nonstop from wake-up to 9–10 p.m. Then in The Scroll, we spiral into all things Wicked (we are firmly Team For Good), new Gen Z lingo like “flow state” and “alternative face,” and why a bob is apparently the ultimate baddie test.

From there, we get honest about growth:

    • Morgan shares what it was like to leave a structured program, find her own voice again, and feel more connected to herself than ever — without being held hostage by who she used to be.

    • Natasha shares where she was a year ago after losing her mom, leaving a relationship and corporate America, and how she’s finally in a season of truly liking herself. We talk friendships that no longer fit, being used for “status,” finding real support, and why mean-girl energy in corporate spaces is tired and done.

We close out with a sweet listener text about being thankful to work from home (less road rage, less sickness, more peace 🙌) and announce our December “Favorite Things” giveaway: a fully loaded boxed treat of our current obsessions as a thank-you for riding with us.

If you’re not where you want to be yet, but you’re definitely not who you were a year ago, this one’s for you. 💛

  • Episode 10: The Darkest Chapter: Natasha's Story
    2025/11/19

This week’s cozy chaos edition is coming to you from Sunday night brain-fog, walking pneumonia energy, kids yelling at bedtime, and possible ghost orbs floating through Morgan’s house. We talk NPC neighbors, the Sue Dillon “Marlboro Reds” voice, white rabbit TikTok symbolism, Orlando real estate magic, pop-culture drama (hi Ariana, hi Katy Perry, hi Hair by Chrissy), and why some people feel a little bit… soulless. 👀

But the heart of this episode is Natasha sharing the most mortifying, painful chapter of her life: a rushed early-20s marriage to her personal trainer, finding out he’d been cheating with one of her bridesmaids for a year, the shocking abuse and car-chase incident that followed, and the moment her dad told her, “You are not my little girl.” She walks through the shame, the healing, and how she rebuilt her life into something secure, safe, and actually joyful.

We close out with our “Thankful Series,” sharing what we (and our friends) are grateful for—especially secure love that lets you roam free and still feel deeply chosen (and yes, digital calendars that keep everyone alive). We tease Morgan’s part two, plus a fun holiday series with prizes coming up.

TW: Domestic violence, infidelity, emotional abuse. Please listen with care and skip this one if you need to. 💛

    In this episode:

    • Sunday night chaos, ghost orbs & NPC neighbors

    • Walking pneumonia, Epcot FOMO, and Orlando buyers flocking from up north

    • White rabbit symbolism & pop-culture scroll: Ariana, Katy Perry & Hair by Chrissy

    • Natasha’s 30-day marriage: cheating, violence, a car chase & a totaled car

    • The gut-punch of disappointing your parents—and repairing the relationship

    • Becoming thankful for the ugliest chapters because they shaped who we are

    • What a truly secure, grown-up relationship feels like

    • Listener “Thankful Series” entries and what we’re loving right now

Listen wherever you get your podcasts, and watch the full episode on YouTube. Don’t forget to follow, rate, review, and share this with a friend who needs proof that you can start over and build something beautiful. 🫶

  • Episode 9: Rock Bottom to Real Life: Cliff Notes of Morgan’s Comeback
    2025/11/12

    TW: addiction

This week, Morgan opens up about the lowest season of her life — the one that broke her and built her. From a series of bad decisions and total rock bottom to a new life rooted in faith, family, and purpose.

Nine years ago, she walked into treatment and started the climb back to real life.

In this episode: • When “manageable” isn’t • Living without direction and finding it again • The turning point that changed everything (Nov 7, 2014) • Rebuilding relationships and a career • Learning that you’re not your worst chapter

If addiction stories feel heavy, skip to the listener gratitude segment near the end — a reminder that healing is possible and peace is real.

In this week’s episode of Almost Experts, Morgan and Natasha open the group chat to the ghosts of relationships past — the bad dates, toxic exes, and walking red flags that still haunt us. From cringe-worthy first dates to “what was I thinking?” relationships, the girls spill their own stories and swap listener horror tales that prove love can be scarier than any haunted house.
