  • Ep. 6 - The Primitive Mind: Why We Fall for Bad Arguments
    2026/01/02

The process of becoming an independent thinker is, in many ways, an attempt to undo the instincts that have kept humans alive for millennia.

Our brains are wired to follow the crowd. In this episode, we take a closer look at why humans so easily accept weak arguments, confuse consensus with truth, and mistake familiarity for wisdom.

  • Ep 5 - Blindspots: Why Objectivity is Hard
    2025/11/24

We all love to think we’re rational. But most of us are just confidently biased. This episode is simply to expose how blind spots distort the way we think, why disagreeing often feels like a threat, and how our emotions quietly drive our “logic.”

Using the story of the Blind Men and the Elephant, we'll unpack together what objectivity really demands from us, and why our minds just naturally resist it.

  • Ep. 4 - Objectivity Meets It's Mirror: Subjectivity
    2025/09/25

Last time, we looked at objectivity, the attempt to see the world as it is, beyond our biases and emotions. But the truth is that none of us can ever escape ourselves entirely. Every experience we have is filtered through a subjective lens due to our limited senses.

In this episode, we continue on our walk to the concept of truth: how our emotions, histories, and our desires shape what we see. From casual everyday experiences, like two people during the same rainstorm, to deeper philosophical ideas from Kierkegaard and Husserl, we will be exploring why subjectivity isn't a weakness but a fundamental part of being human.

If objectivity is about the world outside us, subjectivity is about the world inside us. And the both of them together would point us toward a richer understanding of the concept of truth.
