When practised ethically, Sexual Surrogate Partner Therapy is a structured, psychologically informed, three-way therapeutic model involving the client, the surrogate partner, and the supervising therapist. It is designed to help individuals overcome psychogenic sexual dysfunction, performance anxiety, intimacy fear and deep-rooted sexual shame.
