At Paris’s Circ Royale, Holmes and Watson await a prospective client who never arrives. Their attention soon turns to Madame Giselle, the circus’s celebrated bareback rider, as a troubling mystery draws them into the world behind the ring. Written by Anthony Boucher and Denis Green, this Mutual Broadcasting System episode comes from the series’ Petri Wines era.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
