In the news, Glasgow trans teens say they've been 'spat at' and had ‘stones thrown at them’ in city centre, Andy Burnham failing trans community as Labour policies tighten, report finds NHS England policy for trans people could have ‘a number of adverse impacts’, and researchers warn that heart disease risk in transgender adults remains dangerously understudied.

In other news, it’s time to stop fighting each other & remember why queer media exists at all, the anti-LGBT+ political climate isn’t driving folks back into the closet. It’s doing the opposite, Ted Cruz rants about “transgender witches” in bizarre plea for “ordinary Americans” to vote, and a Republican leader called 2 trans Democrats mentally ill. They minced no words in their scathing replies.

Also in the US, Fox News tried to get Pete Buttigieg to slam a Democrat Senate candidate. He turned the tables instead. Elsewhere, anti-LGBT+ countries get to guard human rights for the U.N. and Hungarian lawmakers vote to cut anti-LGBT+ legislation from Orbán-era law.

In the good news, Zelenskyy signs new human rights strategy that includes protections for LGBT+ people.
