The Abbott And Costello Show presents “Uncle Mike’s Gold Mine,” originally broadcast on March 3, 1948. In this ABC sustaining broadcast, episode 191, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello head north after Lou learns that Uncle Mike may have struck gold.

A telegram sends Bud and Lou on an Alaska-bound comic adventure, complete with dog sled travel, the Lucky Seven Saloon, and plenty of misunderstandings. Susan Miller performs “Love Is Just Around the Corner,” with Matty Malneck and his orchestra; Michael Roy announces.

The Abbott And Costello Show presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
