- Surveillance camera and timestamped ATM receipt show Russell Parker withdrawing $200 at 6:52 AM, 0.4 miles from the trailhead, while he later claimed to be home all morning.
- Investigators found a second thread when Russell’s name appeared on service invoices tied to Sandra Colm, whose remains were found eleven miles north five days later.
