Truth. Transition. Triumph.

From the cotton fields of North Alabama to military space operations to the mic, The ALeeT Podcast is the unfiltered journey of a man who’s seen war—inside and out—and lived to tell the story. Hosted by Lee Thomas, a 21-year Air & Space Force veteran, now navigating life beyond the uniform, this show dives deep into the real shit: mental health, spiritual resilience, emotional evolution, career pivots, and reclaiming your self-worth.

Whether you're transitioning from military life, breaking generational cycles, chasing your dreams, or just trying to keep it together on a Tuesday—this space is for you. No fluff. No fake inspiration. Just authentic conversations, epic guests, and raw truths from a man who’s been to hell, built a home in the storm, and found love in the most unexpected places.

ALeeT isn’t just a name—it’s a mindset.

It’s about owning your scars, leading with love, and building a legacy that matters.

Because healing is revolutionary, and dammit, so are you!

  • Reflection
    2026/07/05

Season 1 comes to a close with the final SPUG tenet: Reflection.

In this episode, I discuss why reflection isn't about assigning blame, it's about discovering the next direction. Using military debrief techniques, root-cause analysis, and personal experiences, I explain how looking inward allows us to grow stronger than we were yesterday.

    Topics include:

    • Why Reflection completes the SPUG framework
    • Conducting personal "debriefs" after successes and failures
    • Using root-cause analysis instead of self-blame
    • The importance of intrinsic motivation
    • Why goals may evolve, and why that's okay
    • Why the nine SPUG tenets are designed to work together, not as isolated principles
    • A personal story about applying SPUG within my own marriage and what it taught me about grace, clarity, and growth

One point I want to emphasize that isn't fully covered in the episode: SPUG was never intended to be used one tenet at a time. Strength, Power, Unity, Growth, and the nine tenets reinforce one another. Reflection isn't the finish line—it continually feeds back into the process, creating momentum for the next goal.

Likewise, not every goal deserves to be finished. If a goal no longer aligns with who you've become or the life you're trying to build, it isn't failure to pivot. Stay intrinsically motivated, reflect honestly, and pursue goals that continue moving you toward the best version of yourself.

Thank you for joining me throughout Season 1! 😁

    As always...

    Stay Spuggin' ALeeT!

  • Legacy
    2026/06/28

Legacy isn't something you leave behind...it's something you leave in people.

In this episode of The ALeeT Podcast, Lee Thomas explores the eighth tenet of SPUG by challenging the traditional idea of legacy. Through stories of Mee-Maw's garden, lessons learned over 22 years of military service, the influence of mentors, and the unexpected growth found in a new career, this episode asks a simple but powerful question:

What are people carrying with them because they met you?

Whether you're leading a team, raising a family, mentoring a coworker, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself, your legacy is already being written.

  • Allyship
    2026/06/20

Lee lived up to his standard and has brought you another episode of the podcast: Allyship!

This is part 7 of a 9 part series, depicting what needs to be done in order to become an ally. This is a multifaceted term that Lee puts his own spin on, divorcing it from the norm, and stealing it away from political stances.

Attempting to keep the podcast agnostic, hear Lee skirt the line and prove that empathy is the road to understanding those who are different from us.
