Boris Sanchez started his first business at seven years old, running a food delivery hustle inside his own school in Colombia. That entrepreneurial streak nearly got cut short when his mother, a prominent attorney who had won a case against Pablo Escobar's cartel, received threats against the family. They fled the country with about $3,000 and started completely over in the United States — his mother went from practicing law to sweeping floors while Boris worked odd jobs, sold pool cues on eBay, ran a car dealership, and paid his own way through college and an MBA in London. He eventually found his way into real estate, working as a mortgage loan officer before moving into hard money lending, house flipping, and commercial deals. By 2019 he had scaled to over 725 units and a million square feet of rentable space across apartments, self storage, and retail. Now, after three years of quiet development, he's just launched Reidy AI — an AI-powered real estate platform that delivers instant, unbiased property appraisals and connects investors with a network of thousands of lenders and buyers. He breaks down how the platform works, the biggest mistakes new investors make, and why he believes you don't need cash to start building real wealth in real estate.
