🚀 Meet Tessa:

Tessa Alexa Stanford, Founder & CEO of the Institute for Open-Hearted Psychology and Unspoken Global, left her decade-long career in the Social Welfare Sector in 2016 when she became increasingly disillusioned with our systems of care and modern psychological approaches to mental health and overall wellbeing.

During her career, Tessa attained her First Class Honours in Psychology (2011) and specialised in Holistic Wellbeing Interventions, Trauma Assessments and Staff Development. Tessa completed additional study in Nutritional Medicine, Emotional-Regulation and The Neurobiology of Complex and Developmental Trauma, and worked with various disadvantaged populations (within fields of Child Protection, Early Intervention Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Alternative Education and with Asylum Seekers and Refugees).

After undertaking an adventure of a lifetime to seek deeper answers, Tessa explored the unspoken waters of Grief, and deepened her relationship with story-telling as a way to transform worlds with words. She now works at the nexus of mental health, spirituality and creativity offering pathways of initiation in True-Self Expression and Grief-Informed Leadership to support humans to transform their own lives and the lives of others with open-heartedness.

Tessa's most recent innovation is her community mental health initiative, Unspoken Global. Unspoken celebrates courageous story-telling to cultivate courageous communities. The initiative aims to create genuine social change by helping to break intergenerational patterns of shame, emotional suppression and grief through community level healing.

At heart, Tessa is a small town Country Queensland girl who has always worn her heart on her sleeve, and who believes that real and revolutionary change is possible on this planet when we have the resources, support and courage to express our True Self.

Tia Marie Harrison is an entrepreneur, business mentor, and strategist helping founders build the businesses they believe they were uniquely designed to create. With more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience spanning hospitality, brick-and-mortar businesses, nonprofit leadership, brand development, and the online business space, Tia brings practical business expertise together with a deeply intuitive understanding of leadership, wealth, and purpose.

Her entrepreneurial journey began at 25, when she became an executive chef in San Francisco before co-founding a pioneering women-owned whole-animal butcher shop and a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the craft of butchery. Dane Tomas is an author, entrepreneur and consultant who has spent nearly two decades exploring how transformational work develops from a personal calling into a body of work, a business and, ultimately, something capable of creating lasting cultural impact.

In 2012, Dane created The Spiral, a transformational methodology synthesising a range of therapeutic, coaching and consciousness-based approaches. He went on to build a global training company around the work, certify more than 500 practitioners, write eight books, and eventually sell the company in 2020.

In the years since, Dane has travelled extensively, working and facilitating at the intersection of leadership, power, consciousness, embodiment and entrepreneurship.

Through his experience mentoring around 2,000 purpose-driven leaders, practitioners and entrepreneurs, Dane began noticing predictable stages in the journey from practitioner to leader, entrepreneur and institution-builder. This became The 5 Stages of Transformational Leadership, a framework for understanding how our leadership, business and organisational capacities must evolve if transformational work is going to grow beyond the individual carrying it.

Today, Dane works with transformational leaders and founder-led spiritual businesses to build the leadership, structures and systems required to carry meaningful work further into the world.
