A New Unifier / Democratic Hyper-partisanship

Step away from the partisan, sports-fan coverage "my team is better than your team" to see the positivity of the off year/odd year election results in a few states earlier this week

Democrats are now in a shrinking blue bubble. Most Democrats I encounter have never had sustained social contact with working class or Republican voters. They tend to denigrate Republican voters as being in a cult, stupid, gullible, racist or all of the above.

This does two things. It implicates the Democrat’s superiority, and it makes Republican voters undeserving of empathy or curiosity — they’re just the enemy. When they’re assassinated, no big deal. When they garner more votes than Democrats, there’s no lesson about how to appeal to more voters, it’s a harbinger of the End Times.

Why would you listen to the left if you want new ideas?

The Democratic Party fails over and over and over again. If you believe in a classical Liberal Arts education that teaches you not much beyond the powers of critical thinking, try applying that skill to the Democratic Party's performance.

It’s not considered biased to say we have a Legacy media anymore. It’s reality. The Web, apps, wifi and smartphones have transformed news publishing, broadcasts and cable.

What’s more interesting to observe is that the ideological choices of the Legacy media has accelerated the shift.
