Texas A&M had the yards. Texas A&M had the rushing production. Texas A&M had home-field advantage.
And the Aggies still lost 31-21 to Kentucky.

Reed finished 26-of-49 for 236 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while adding 80 rushing yards and a score. The Aggies piled up 423 total yards and 187 rushing yards, but turnovers and defensive breakdowns changed the game.
Kentucky exploded for 21 points in the third quarter, Minchey threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns, and CJ Baxter ran for 87 yards and two scores.
