Teni Rane makes her 3rd appearance on Appalachian Artists Live, tune in as Teni performs songs off of her new album "Never Turning Back" and what she has planned for her future!
Teni Rane is an Americana singer-songwriter based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose music draws inspiration from the Appalachian landscape, nature, loneliness, longing, and the search for home and identity.
Her debut album, Goldenrod (2024), reached No. 13 on the Folk Radio Charts and earned critical acclaim, with Glide Magazine calling her an “up-and-coming Americana winner along the lines of Sierra Ferrell.”
Growing up in the American South and disconnected from her Armenian heritage, Rane uses songwriting to explore identity, belonging, homesickness, and the human experience. Her music has taken her from Sweden to venues across the country, while her unique journey has included semi-pro soccer, chemical engineering, yoga, and mindfulness.
After leaving a corporate career to pursue music, Rane has dedicated herself to creating songs that capture both the beauty and struggles of life.
