  • Episode 61: The Body Repurposed
    2025/09/17
In today’s episode, Amanda looks at the phrase, “the body repurposed.” What does it mean to repurpose something? As an interior designer, she recalls the renovation process and examines the body’s origin and purpose in scripture. Through this process, questions begin to arise. Has humanity been duped into repurposing our bodies for our agenda? Are we hesitant to allow God access to renovate our interior and turn our hearts back to Him? Both individually and collectively as the Body of Christ? Join Amanda for this exploration of “the body repurposed.”Support free family friendly content by listening to us on FaithChannel, on the 610Fit Academy page.https://www.faithchannel.com/Podcasts/1277666e-0c1c-4dff-9e4d-8dfc77446a94Contact us at Jenny@610Fit.comFollow us on Facebook to help us build and audience for the mission of creating a community of believers training together to restore the temple, our bodies, back to the Lord by becoming strong in Him (610Fit).The Temple Restoration Projecthttps://www.facebook.com/TempleRestorationProjectPodcastThe 610Fit Academyhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571970557394Jenny Higginbothamhttps://www.facebook.com/jenny.higginbotham.946/followersYou can help us further the message and the mission of The Temple Restoration Project and the 610Fit Academy by donating to our campaign at Give, Send, Go under The Temple Restoration Project.https://givesendgo.com/templerestorationproject?utm_source=sharelink&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=templerestorationproject Learn more about your ad choices. • Episode 60: A 610Fit Journey w/ Vickie Surber
    2025/09/10
This week, we welcome Vicki Surber to the studio. Vicki is not only a long-standing client of 610Fit but also a cherished friend. At one point on her journey, Vicki realized that her body was no longer something she could rely on. In the midst of this challenge, she experienced a profound lesson: the Lord used this time to reveal that true trust could not be placed in the strength of the body but only in the strength of the Lord. Vicki's journey became one of surrender rather than striving. By choosing to let go and allowing the Lord to reveal her true self, instead of forcing her own idea of identity, Vicki discovered a new sense of purpose and understanding. Her story serves as a powerful reminder that we can trust the Lord to guide us toward who we are meant to be, even when we struggle to listen. Vicki's experience encourages us all to relinquish control and embrace the identity of who we are in Christ.Support free family friendly content by listening to us on FaithChannel on the 610Fit Academy page.https://www.faithchannel.com/Podcasts/1277666e-0c1c-4dff-9e4d-8dfc77446a94Contact us at Jenny@610fit.comFollow us on Facebook to help us build an audience for the mission of creating a community of believers training together to restore the temple, our bodies, back to the Lord by becoming strong in Him (610Fit).The Temple Restoration Projecthttps://www.facebook.com/TempleRestorationProjectPodcast/The 610Fit Academyhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571970557394Jenny Higginbothamhttps://www.facebook.com/jenny.higginbotham.946/ Learn more about your ad choices. • Episode 59: Our Hearts Desires and Our Bodies
    2025/09/04
In the previous episode, we discussed the significance of the desires of our hearts. In this episode, we continue the discussion by exploring the relationship between our bodies and our desires. To understand this, we need to grasp the truth that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and as a temple, our bodies must reflect the greatness of God in their operation. Join us as we learn together from the Lord what it means to direct our desires toward the Lord's pleasures for our bodies and away from building them up as a temple for our own pleasures.Support free family friendly content by listening to us on FaithChannel on the 610Fit Academy page.https://www.faithchannel.com/Podcasts/1277666e-0c1c-4dff-9e4d-8dfc77446a94Contact us at Jenny@610fit.comFollow us on Facebook to help us build an audience for the mission of creating a community of believers training together to restore the temple, our bodies, back tot he Lord by becoming strong in Him (610Fit).The Temple Restoration Projecthttps://www.facebook.com/TempleRestorationProjectPodcast/The 610Fit Academyhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571970557394Jenny Higginbothamhttps://www.facebook.com/jenny.higginbotham.946/ Learn more about your ad choices. • Episode 58: Our Hearts Desires
    2025/08/27
This episode explores the health of our hearts, not physically but spiritually. One thing that is highlighted is that our spiritual condition is more important than our physical condition. This is important to understand because when our focus is set on the health of our bodies we can easily become blinded to the spiritual condition of our hearts. We know how to assess the condition of our bodies, but how do we evaluate the health of our hearts spiritually? This topic leads us to better understand our desires and why they matter. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. • Episode 57: The 610Fit Journey
    2025/08/20
When Jenny opened her personal training business, she named it 610Fit, which is derived from Ephesians 6:10. At the time, it was just a name, but little did she know the Lord had much bigger plans for the term. 610Fit became a term that defines what it means to become strong in the Lord. Our strength must be founded, rooted and built up in the Lord as it is essential to carrying out our mission as God’s people. The work to be 610Fit is much different than the work to be fit, and the distinction is necessary because in a world consumed with fitness, we have become captive to our strength. But we have victory, and the work of the Lord is to deliver us from the strength we have built up so we may live by faith and run the race set before us. In this episode, Amanda and Jenny discuss what the Lord has taught them about how to become strong in the Lord. • Episode 56: Our Journey through the Lens of the Old Testament
    2025/08/15
We can learn a lot about who God is and who we are in Christ from those who have gone before us. The concept that history repeats itself is significant. The journey of God’s people in the Old Testament is reflective of our journey with Him now. This episode delves into the book of Isaiah to reflect on how the Lord led His people victoriously through the toughest terrain. Also in Isaiah, the Lord reveals that He is capable of directing history for the sake of His people. When our trust is placed in His providential guidance, we become visible proof of His redeeming love.Scriptures discussed in episode:Isaiah 43:18-19Zechariah 4:6-72 Corinthians 5:7Isaiah 30:1-5Hebrews 12:1-2Isaiah 52:7-10Isaiah 43:10Isaiah 55:10-11Romans 4:19-20Jude 21Support free family friendly content by listening to us on FaithChannel on the 610Fit Academy page.https://www.faithchannel.com/Podcasts/1277666e-0c1c-4dff-9e4d-8dfc77446a94Contact us at Jenny@610fit.comFollow us on Facebook to help us build an audience for the mission of creating a community of believers training together to restore the temple, our bodies, back to the Lord by becoming strong in Him (610Fit).The Temple Restoration Projecthttps://www.facebook.com/TempleRestorationProjectPodcastThe 610Fit Academyhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571970557394Jenny Higginbothamhttps://www.facebook.com/jenny.higginbotham.946/You can help us further the message and the mission of the Temple Restoration Project and the 610Fit Academy by donating to our campaign at Give, Send, Go under The Temple Restoration Project.https://givesendgo.com/templerestorationproject?utm_source=sharelink&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=templerestorationproject Learn more about your ad choices. • Episode 55: A Hard Love
    2025/08/06
In this episode, we take a look at the band Needtobreathe and their song Hard Love. Needtobreathe holds a special place in Jenny’s heart. The Lord has used their music to teach and encourage her on her journey. The Lord also used a moment at a concert to show her what it means to live by grace. We discuss these stories and explore the band’s authenticity, which leads them to yield to the guidance of the Lord. Through their music, they have touched many lives, and we believe that the Lord is going to further multiply their reach into the hearts of His children. We also explore the lyrics of the song 'Hard Love,' and this reminds us that even though suffering may be present, we can find strength in the love of Jesus Christ.Link to the song "Hard Love" by Needtobreathehttps://youtu.be/tE3Fp8C_ufg?si=MhCZhYHIyy1cpufeLink to band interview with Way FMhttps://wayfm.com/justin/full-interview-with-needtobreathe-the-stories-behind-hard-love?reload=trueLink to "I've Got a Story" music video by Needtobreathehttps://youtu.be/3bozPM6mras?si=sEdknOuDpRYlSH_aSupport free family friendly content by listening to us on FaithChannel on The 610Fit Academy page.https://www.faithchannel.com/Podcasts/1277666e-0c1c-4dff-9e4d-8dfc77446a94EmailJenny@610fit.comFollow us on Facebook to help us build an audience for the mission of creating a community of believers training together to restore the temple, our bodies, back to the Lord by becoming strong in Him (610Fit).The Temple Restoration Projecthttps://www.facebook.com/TempleRestorationProjectPodcast/The 610Fit Academyhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571970557394Jenny Higginbothamhttps://www.facebook.com/jenny.higginbotham.946/You can help us further the message and the mission of the Temple Restoration Project and the 610Fit Academy by donating to our campaign at Give, Send, Go under The Temple Restoration Project.https://givesendgo.com/templerestorationproject?utm_source=sharelink&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=templerestorationproject Learn more about your ad choices. • Episode 54: Off the Beaten Path
    2025/07/30
This episode begins with the story of a walk in the park and a nudge from the Lord to follow the rabbit. What seems to make no sense makes perfect sense when we learn to perceive the ways of the Lord. The lesson the Lord taught through this story is that on our journey forward, we can't stay on the clear-cut path; we have to venture into the wilderness. This episode explores this concept while also discussing the topics of hearing from the Lord and perceiving His ways both individually and as the collective whole.Support free family friendly content by listening to us on FaithChannel under podcastshttps://www.faithchannel.com/Podcasts/1277666e-0c1c-4dff-9e4d-8dfc77446a94Follow us on Facebook to help us build an audience for the mission of creating a community of believers working together to restore the temple, our bodies, back to the Lord by becoming 610Fit (strong in Him). The Temple Restoration Projecthttps://www.facebook.com/TempleRestorationProjectPodcastThe 610Fit Academyhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61571970557394You can help us further the message and the mission of the Temple Restoration Project and the 610Fit Academy by donating to our campaign at Give, Send, Go under The Temple Restoration Project.https://givesendgo.com/templerestorationproject?utm_source=sharelink&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=templerestorationproject Learn more about your ad choices.
