It had to happen at some point. It is now 9 straight wins for the Avalanche after back to back shutouts over the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks, despite scoring just two goals on a goalie in six periods of play. This is now becoming a hilarious streak where the Avs just keep winning no matter what, and are already creating a massive gap between them and the rest of the NHL at the quarter mark of the season.
