Miami Vice* changed the way the world saw South Florida. But what happened after Crockett and Tubbs drove off into the sunset? What television shows filled the void and did they have the same impact on the way the world sees South Florda that Miami Vice did?

In this episode of **Tales From South Florida**, I look at the South Florida television shows that followed *Miami Vice* and helped create a very different image of Florida. Or did they?

And what role does Florida author Carl Hiaasen play in all of this?
