Synopsis: This evening (9/16/26), in our Wednesday night Tehilim shiur, after a few off-topic introductory reflections, we reviewed our perek and got to work trying to "land the plane." We reviewed the translation of the perek according to the Radak, then reviewed the key Radaks from last time and read the ones we didn't have time to get to. Then we attempted to come up with a Grand Theory of the perek based on the Radak. That "based on the Radak" part was the real challenge: it was SO tempting to incorporate the many ideas and themes about Rosh ha'Shanah we're familiar with ... but we had to face the fact that the Radak didn't mention any of them. We ended up with two approaches, both of which were good, and neither of which were complete. I'm happy with this round, and I look forward to the next time I get to think about this!
