It’s hot in St. Louis. Like, “everybody in the neighborhood has given up on shirts” hot. Lern’s porch has gone tarps off, Rizz is worried his shirtless yard work would lower property values, and somehow that leads to the crew comparing how often they pee in their own backyards. Rafe even demonstrates for his dog when necessary. Fatherhood is beautiful.

This daily comedy also asks how many different homes everyone has lived in, uncovering everything from Rafe’s Craigslist roommate from Barbados to Moon temporarily living in a GMC Jimmy. Then Rafe’s attempt to buy a new TV turns into a conspiracy theory that Best Buy may just be ordering everything from Amazon anyway. “In stock” apparently means whatever we want it to mean now.

Things get genuinely incredible with a St. Louis story about two-year-old conjoined twin sisters from Ethiopia who were successfully separated during a 25-hour surgery at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon. A team of doctors, nurses and specialists spent a year preparing for the procedure, allowing the sisters — who had never been able to look directly at each other — to finally see, hold and snuggle one another face-to-face.

The crew also says goodbye to a St. Louis institution as O’Connell’s Pub announces plans to close after more than 60 years, before former bartenders Lern and Rafe debate the worst day of the week to work behind the bar. Spoiler: Sunday customers apparently arrive carrying the Sunday Scaries and make them everybody else’s problem.

Finally, this daily comedy discovers “wellness darties,” the new college trend replacing some traditional daytime partying with Pilates, yoga, running, ice baths, matcha and protein shakes. Lern loves it. Moon has discovered the magic of steam rooms. Rizz is horrified and would apparently prefer college students honor tradition by making terrible decisions while their bodies are still young enough to recover.

College kids doing yoga instead of keg stands? Backyard urinals connected to gutters? Shirtless suburban dads protecting property values? It’s another perfectly normal daily comedy from The Rizzuto Show.
