I know that saying your man runs a strict program is supposed to be a flex, but sometimes it isn't the flex that you think it is. Pay attention to how YOU begin to change and the things you Stop doing once you're in a relationship.

Possession and Protection are two different things.

Candi Stanton wrote that hit song after her husband dangled her over a 20 story balcony in Vegas threatening to kill her. She told him the hotel was owned by the mob and they would kill him for bringing this type of press to their business. He then pulled her up and pulled a gun on her.

Thank God she survived. And thank God for this song.

We see it on the news every single day, women are being murdered for trying to leave their abuser.

So, though you don't understand and, "it could never be you" let's practice some compassion.

One of the main mistakes people in abusive relationships make is trying to love their abuser into becoming a different person.

They try to FIX their abuser.

No matter what you do, you can't change someone that is committed to abusing you.
