Roque shares how he discovered his passion for hospitality, opened the original Cien Agaves in Old Town Scottsdale in 2007 and ultimately grew his portfolio to include three distinctly different Valley restaurant concepts.

Roque also opens up about surviving the recession by getting creative, pivoting quickly and never giving up. He discusses the importance of creating strong systems, building a healthy company culture, acquiring established restaurants with loyal followings and knowing what gives a concept true staying power.
