TJ Oshie announced his retirement on June 9, 2025 after a 16 year playing career. He was star forward for the St Louis Blues to begin his career from 2008 to 2015. He then spent 2015 to 2025 with the Washington Capitals, helping them win the Stanley Cup in 2018. In those 2018 playoffs he scored 8 goals and 13 assists in 24 games. Combined regular season and playoffs he gathered 336 goals and 448 assists in 1,116 games. He is also noted for scoring 4 goals on 6 shots for team USA in the Sochi Winter Olympics where international play allows for unlimited shots in shootouts. He missed the 2024-25 season, placed on the Caps Injured Reserved (IR) list. Looking to the future he devote more time to his family, perhaps enter a TV stint and someday take a job behind the bench. He has played in NBCs American Century Championship since 2014 with his best finish in 2020 in 11th place. Always a great interview, sports fans and non sports fans will enjoy this episode.Copyright Dave Leonardi "Always Upright" ホッケー
