It may be the quietest part of the NHL offseason, but there are still plenty of questions surrounding the Vancouver Canucks.

Rob and Shylo start with the team's proposed new practice facility at Britannia, and whether an NHL franchise should still be relying on a community facility while trying to build a first-class organization. That leads to a larger discussion about ownership spending, player development and whether cutting costs now could ultimately hurt Vancouver's young core.

Then it's back to Elias Pettersson. After comparing old footage with recent summer training clips, Rob and Shylo dig into NHL Edge data and Pettersson's declining skating numbers to ask whether something physical is still affecting his game. With his production falling far below his previous 102-point season, the guys debate whether it's finally time for Vancouver to move on.

Finally, they look at what RJ & Co. could still do with the roster, including possible futures for Brock Boeser, Jake DeBrusk, Filip Chytil and Pettersson. For Boeser in particular, the question becomes whether a rebuilding Canucks team should give a longtime player the opportunity to chase a Stanley Cup somewhere else.

Training camp is getting closer. The roster is taking shape.

But Vancouver still has some very big questions to answer.
