  • AI Fear, Human Behavior & Overcoming Resistance to Change
    2026/10/15

Artificial intelligence is changing the world, but how much of what we hear about AI should we actually fear? And could our resistance to new technology be holding us back from opportunities we don't yet understand?

On this episode of The Raw Vibe Podcast, Chuck Tuck welcomes back the conversation around leadership, human behavior, and change with Tony Chatman, leadership advisor, bestselling author, and keynote speaker. Together, they take a candid look at the growing concerns surrounding artificial intelligence, the stories shaping public perception, and why learning to understand new technology may be more valuable than simply fearing it.

Tony shares a practical approach to getting comfortable with AI: start small, experiment, ask questions, and discover how it can help with everyday tasks. From planning a vacation to figuring out what to cook with the ingredients in your refrigerator, AI can be a useful tool when we understand its capabilities and limitations.

But this conversation goes beyond convenience. Chuck and Tony explore the importance of human oversight, responsible AI use, and the guardrails needed to help prevent misuse. They discuss deepfakes, misinformation, the potential consequences of unchecked decisions, and the dangers of allowing technology to operate without appropriate human judgment.

The conversation also explores AI's promise, including its potential to help researchers identify patterns, advance medical research, and address complex challenges. Along the way, Tony connects our reactions to AI with a larger issue: resistance to change. When fear and misinformation shape our beliefs, we can miss opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • Why people fear AI and how public narratives influence perception

    • How to overcome resistance to change through curiosity and hands-on learning

    • Practical ways to use ChatGPT and Claude in everyday life

    • Why AI needs human oversight, appropriate guardrails, and responsible use

    • Deepfakes, misinformation, and the risks of unchecked AI decisions

    • AI's potential to support medical research and improve quality of life

    • Why AI should be treated as a tool, not a replacement for human judgment

    • How embracing new technology can help us adapt to a changing world

You don't have to be a technology expert to start learning about AI. Sometimes, the best first step is simply being willing to explore something unfamiliar.

Join Chuck Tuck and Tony Chatman for an open, thought-provoking conversation about artificial intelligence, leadership, human behavior, and the choices we make when faced with change.

  • How Small Habits Can Change Your Life
    2026/09/29

What if changing your life doesn't require one giant decision—but a series of small ones?

In Episode 409 of The Raw Vibe, Chuck Tuck welcomes back Matan Cohen-Citron for another thought-provoking conversation about the powerful connection between movement, habits, mindset, and behavior change.

Matan explains why movement isn't just about physical fitness. It can also be a powerful tool for emotional health, mental well-being, longevity, and personal growth. We explore how movement complexity and diversity can challenge the brain and body, why our habits can be difficult to change, and how subconscious beliefs and programming can influence the way we behave.

The conversation also dives into something many of us struggle with: resistance to change. Why do we know what we should do but still find ourselves avoiding it? Matan shares practical strategies for overcoming mental blocks, starting small, building sustainable habits, and turning positive decisions into lasting behavioral change.

You'll also hear why planning, execution, and reflection are important parts of changing behavior—and how self-awareness and self-regulation can help us move through fear, doubt, adversity, and the beliefs we inherit from society and culture.

The message is simple but powerful: you don't have to change everything at once. Small, intentional decisions can create an exponential effect over time.

    • Why movement diversity and complexity matter for longevity
    • How habits are formed—and how we can change them

  • Can You Really Reprogram Your Mind? The Truth About Hypnotherapy
    2026/09/24

Are You Really in Control of Your Mind? The Hidden Power of the Subconscious

What if some of the behaviors, fears, habits, and emotional patterns we struggle with aren't controlled entirely by our conscious mind?

In this thought-provoking episode of The Raw Vibe Podcast, Chuck Tuck sits down with Nelson Whiting of No Limits Hypnotherapy for a fascinating conversation about hypnotherapy, the subconscious mind, belief systems, triggers, addiction, compulsive behaviors, self-acceptance, personal growth, and the connection between our mental and physical states.

Nelson explains how he approaches subconscious patterns and why simply knowing that we need to change doesn't always translate into changing our behavior. The conversation explores how triggers and associations can influence habits, how deeply held beliefs can shape our identity, and how changing the way we understand ourselves may influence the way we respond to the world around us.

We also dive into what actually happens during hypnosis, the neuroscience and altered states associated with hypnosis, spiritual perspectives on the mind, and the role that faith, grace, and a higher power can play in personal transformation.

Nelson shares examples from his work and discusses his approach to creating change in as little as 1–3 sessions, as well as the importance of testing and reinforcing new patterns.

Most importantly, this conversation isn't simply about hypnosis. It's about understanding ourselves—why we develop certain patterns, why we sometimes fight against the very changes we want, and how self-love, self-acceptance, and a growth mindset can become part of the journey.

  • You’re Not Stuck—Your Survival Skills May Be Holding You Back
    2026/09/14

Life doesn't always follow the plan.

Relationships end. Careers change. Children grow up. Grief arrives. Retirement forces a new identity. Sometimes the person you thought you were—and the life you thought you were building—no longer exists.

So what do you do next?

On this episode of The Raw Vibe Podcast, I sit down with Chanda Coston, U.S. Navy veteran, business strategist, published author, mother of five, grandmother, and self-described “professional pivoter.”

Chanda has lived through military service, entrepreneurship, career transitions, four divorces, grief, retirement at 50, and multiple seasons of rebuilding. Her experiences have given her a unique perspective on something many people struggle with:

How do you stop simply surviving your life and start intentionally creating it?

Our conversation goes far beyond motivation.

We explore the hidden ways survival skills can become self-sabotaging patterns, why highly capable people often feel compelled to carry everything themselves, and why being needed can sometimes become tied to our sense of self-worth.

We also get into the difficult questions:

👉 How do you know when resilience has turned into unnecessary endurance?
👉 Why do we stay in situations that no longer serve us?
👉 What happens when divorce, grief, retirement, or major life changes disrupt your identity?
👉 How do you rebuild self-trust after making choices you regret?
👉 Is changing your mind really failure—or can it be a sign of growth?
👉 How do you let go of the version of yourself that everyone else expects you to be?
👉 And perhaps most importantly, how do you start over without believing you're starting from scratch?

Chanda brings both professional expertise and deeply personal experience to the conversation, offering practical insight for anyone navigating life transitions, personal growth, career change, relationships, burnout, identity shifts, or the challenge of figuring out what comes next.

Because sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn't becoming someone new.

It's finally giving yourself permission to become who you were meant to be.

    • Survival skills and self-sabotage
    • The psychology of being “the strong one”
    • Resilience vs. unnecessary endurance
    • People-pleasing and the need to feel needed
    • Divorce and rebuilding your identity
    • Grief and major life transitions
    • Starting over after 40, 50, or beyond
    • Rebuilding self-trust
    • Taking responsibility without living in regret
    • Giving yourself permission to change
    • Personal transformation and intentional living
    • Moving from surviving to creating

  • What Keeps You Going When Life Falls Apart? Part 2
    2026/09/14

What keeps you going when the cameras are off, the lights go down, and you're alone with your thoughts?

That's the question at the heart of Part 2 of my conversation with Jeff Johnston of Living Undeterred.

This episode takes our conversation into some unexpectedly deep territory—exploring resilience, grief, self-compassion, spirituality, human connection, mindfulness, music, mental health, and finding hope during life's darkest moments.

Jeff opens up about how his psychedelic experiences changed the way he viewed himself and helped him confront the person he had been hardest on for much of his life: himself. He describes learning to step outside his own ego, develop greater self-compassion, and recognize that he had been carrying enormous expectations and judgment.

Then comes one of the most powerful stories of the conversation.

Jeff recalls a night scuba diving with his son Seth in Saint Lucia. During a safety stop, the divers turned off their lights—and in the darkness, Jeff suddenly heard the distant calls of whales.

The experience became a profound metaphor for life.

What if we're so focused on where we're pointing our own spotlight that we're missing everything happening around us?

Jeff realized that he had spent portions of his life focused on achievement, money, expectations and his own internal struggles while potentially missing the things that mattered most. He now encourages people to occasionally “turn off the flashlight” and simply listen—to the world, to other people, and to themselves.

We also talk about the surprising power of music, why certain sounds can instantly change our emotional state, the importance of allowing ourselves to be who we are without constantly worrying about how other people perceive us, and why Jeff believes lived experience and human connection can be incredibly powerful.

But eventually, our conversation comes back to the question that matters most:

When you're alone and nobody is watching, what keeps you going?

Jeff's answer is simple but incredibly powerful: he reminds himself that he has survived 100% of every worst thing that has ever happened to him.

He talks about hope, faith, journaling, resilience, impermanence, and believing that his best days can still be ahead of him.

This episode isn't about pretending that life doesn't hurt.

It's about recognizing that the hard moments don't last forever—and neither do the good ones.

It's about learning to be kinder to ourselves.

    It's about paying attention.

    It's about human connection.

And sometimes, it's simply about waiting long enough for the darkness to pass.

If you've ever struggled with grief, loss, loneliness, mental health, self-doubt, or simply wondered how you're going to get through the next difficult chapter of your life, there's something in this conversation for you.

Because sometimes the most important thing you can do is keep going.

  • When Life Changes Everything: Finding Strength When You Need It Most
    2026/09/12

Better, Not Bitter: Jeff Johnston on Loss, Addiction, Grief & Finding Purpose

    Part 1 of 2

What happens when life takes someone you love—and then asks you to keep going?

In Part 1 of this deeply personal two-part conversation, I sit down with Jeff Johnston, founder of Living Undeterred, for a conversation that goes far beyond addiction and mental health.

Jeff knows devastating loss firsthand. After losing his 23-year-old son, Seth, to fentanyl poisoning, his life changed forever. Years later, he would experience another devastating loss with the death of his wife, Prudence, from alcoholism.

It would be understandable for grief, anger, and bitterness to take over.

But Jeff made a different choice.

    He chose “Better, Not Bitter.”

In this episode, Jeff opens up about what that choice really means—and what it looks like when you're dealing with grief that doesn't simply disappear. We talk about addiction, fentanyl, mental health, the stigma surrounding substance abuse, the importance of asking for help, and the difficult question many people eventually face:

How do you find a reason to keep moving forward when your world has been turned upside down?

This isn't a conversation about having all the answers. It's about being honest about the questions.

Jeff shares the experiences that ultimately led him to create Living Undeterred, a mission dedicated to helping people and communities confront addiction, mental health challenges, grief, and the human cost of silence.

If you have ever experienced profound loss—or know someone who has—this conversation may hit differently.

And this is only Part 1.

Part 2 takes the conversation even deeper.
