Collazo was honored for advancing innovative Latino media and expanding access to trusted information through leadership, storytelling and civic engagement that empowers our communities.

    Collazo shared why he dedicated the award to his sons and the biggest lesson he wanted to highlight during this incredible milestone moment during his 13 years of podcasting.

    Collazo also shares commentary on the incident at the WHCD and the firing of one of the most celebrated Puerto Rican men in our society.

  • A United Latino Economic Agenda

    Host Rafael "Ray" Collazo is joined by Mauricio Garcia, the Senior Vice President of Programs at UNIDOSUS. UNIDOSUS (formerly National Council of La Raza) is the nation's largest Latino Civil Rights organization. UNIDOSUS recently released their "National Economic Prosperity Agenda." The Agenda seeks to unite leaders across various sectors — government, philanthropy, corporations, advocacy and local communities — around solutions to strengthen economic mobility and shared prosperity for the country.

    Collazo and Garcia review the process that went into developing the agenda's framework, and the four 'pillars of prosperity' for Latino economic advancement. This is a critical conversation for those interested in a vision for how strategic investments in the housing market, workforce and small business development and financial security programs can come together to help Latino families build financial stability and wealth.

    Mauricio Garcia is also a nationally recognized Colombian-American leader. Collazo and Garcia discuss the impact of nearly 2 million Colombianos in our nation and debate who is our GOAT Paisa.
