Why are chip bags half empty?
Why does “easy open” packaging require scissors, teeth, and upper-body strength?
And why does the self-checkout machine accuse us of wrongdoing immediately after telling us exactly where to place the item?
In this lighter, and slightly unhinged, episode, I’m exploring the everyday inconveniences, confusing designs, technological betrayals, and misleading packages we’ve somehow accepted as normal.
We’ll decide whether each one is actually valid, completely ridiculous, or technically valid, but still bullshit.
I’ll also dive into why tiny frustrations can create such enormous reactions, what may already be filling our emotional load when the printer pushes us over the edge, and why the disappointment isn’t always about what we received, but the expectation wrapped around it.
And in this episode’s Nerd Out with Me, we’re investigating how, and why, wombats poop actual cubes.
Because apparently that’s something we all need to know. 😂
Keeping it Real,
