There is a leadership blind spot. It's one that is a cause of depression for entrepreneurs and those who lead others.
Yes...leadership and depression. Sadly, they can often go hand in hand.
The reason this is a blind spot...something that many leaders can't see as a deficiency in themselves...is because it's covered up by their greatest strength. That's vision.
What happens with leaders is that we are so good at looking towards the future, and planning for what is next...that we become incredibly poor at celebrating the NOW. And if you're never celebrating the NOW, you can't experience true joy as a leader.
This may seem obvious, but it's one of the most difficult challenges that entrepreneurs and leaders face. How can you celebrate the NOW, why you're striving for a greater FUTURE?
