In Victorian Cloisterham, Jasper welcomes his nephew Edwin Drood as Edwin’s engagement to Rosa and a growing rivalry with Neville Landless strain the household’s uneasy relationships. Produced and directed by Elliott Lewis, this first half of a two-part drama builds an ominous cathedral-town atmosphere around Dickens’s enduring mystery.
Old Time Radio Stories presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
