On Sunday, June 28, Rev. Mark Burnham continued the summer series entitled, "A Curriculum of Love: Deepening Our Love for God, Our Neighbor, and Ourselves". Today's sermon is entitled, "Surrender and Trust".
This summer’s sermon series “A Curriculum of Love” was created by the Rev. Siri
Strommen, a Lutheran pastor in Minnesota. In all three Synoptic Gospels, Jesus says:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul and your neighbor as yourself.” While the command is simple, it is not easy. This series invites us to journey deeper into the heart of God and the reality of God’s love in our lives.
The Sundays in June cover the first theme of the series—Loving God: Evaluating
our idea of God, building trust, and connecting with God.
