The machine worked like a television set, allowing its audience to view any event in history. Some think Ernetti’s invention is a work of fiction, but others say it remains dismantled in the Vatican’s archives, protected from enemies who might use it for their own gains.

On November 23rd, 1956, two pilots took off from Kinross Air Force Base in Michigan in pursuit of an unknown aircraft. Minutes later, they disappeared from the radar, leading to numerous searches over the Great Lakes area. In the early 1900s in the small town of Van Meter, Iowa, many residents saw a creature they couldn’t explain. It had giant wings, a beak, and a light on its head that not only mystified locals but also sometimes erased their memories, too.
