We have a new segment: The Book Was Better! This week, we’re talking Supergirl- both the DC movie recently released and the Tom King graphic novel!!! We really wanted to like the movie, but we had so many issues with the narrative choices. It gave white woman feminism. And when you compare it to the graphic novel, even more issues appear 😭 The great news is that Milly embodied her Supergirl and the cast did a phenomenal job!!
