The Connecticut Sun conclude their 24-year history in Hartford with a 95-81 victory over the Toronto Tempo, securing a 95-81 win before relocating to Houston. Ashlon Jackson led scoring with 18 points while Hailey Van Lith contributed 9 rebounds and 8 assists amidst widespread injuries including Brittney Griner and Marina Mabrey being out. Jen Rizzotti and Morgan Tuck lead the transition as President of Basketball Operations and GM respectively.

This mailbag episode analyzes the impact of the 11-33 record and sixth-place Eastern Conference Division finish on the upcoming Houston tenure. We discuss whether Ashlon Jackson is ready as the permanent number one option and if Hailey Van Lith can anchor the offense without post presence. The hosts also evaluate the depth chart challenges caused by ten players being out in the final game.

Key topics include the leadership continuity under Rizzotti and Tuck, the potential for a 15-29 inaugural season in Houston, and predictions for a 2027 playoff berth. We explore jersey retirement possibilities for Morgan Tuck and the cultural significance of the orange shirt legacy moving west.
