概要
Logan Roy dies mid-flight to Sweden, missing his eldest son Connor's wedding entirely. After tasking Roman with firing Gerri Kellman via phone from the tarmac, Logan collapses on the plane and never regains consciousness. The three younger siblings — Kendall, Shiv, and Roman — receive the news while aboard the wedding yacht, each saying goodbye over a phone held to an unconscious man. Connor marries Willa in a quiet ceremony anyway. The siblings fly to Teterboro, where Logan is pronounced dead on arrival, and Shiv unilaterally inserts a succession claim into the public statement at the press line.
This episode reframes the entire series: every Roy power struggle, every broken relationship, every unfinished conversation now has a permanent endpoint. Logan's death leaves Waystar without leadership heading into a board meeting the next day, sets Shiv's succession ambitions in open conflict with Kendall's, and forces each sibling to reckon — in real time, in public — with who they are without him.
