Today we check out a highly anticipated album from the Santa Cruz hardcore band DRAIN. Tursnstile is carrying the torch for this new resurgence of the genre, and many have touted DRAIN as the next band in the pecking order of said resurgence. Their debut album “California Cursed” was an absolute banger…and now Epitaph has grabbed this band to push the cult following to new heights. Will this album help them go higher?

Before diving in....just know that neither of us are pop or country fans....so you will not find Taylor Swift, Lainey Wilson, or The Weeknd here. That being said...there WAS a hip-hop album or two in the mid year top 10...but pop and country...no.
