概要

Under the sickly amber glow of a dying streetlight, something is always waiting to be uncovered. In Streetlight Burials, each episode is a self-contained story drawn from the cracks of a city that never sleeps — or forgets. Luna unearths tales of objects found beneath flickering lamps: a child's shoe with a name stitched inside, a bundle of letters sealed with wax, a rusted key that fits a lock no one remembers. These are not ghost stories in the traditional sense; they are quieter, rooted in the mundane turned sinister. A parking lot where shadows pool too thickly. A stretch of sidewalk that repeats itself. A streetlamp that buzzes in a language only the lost understand. The collection is unified by place — the forgotten edges of town where light fails and the dark takes root — and by the sense that every object buried under a streetlight carries a story that refuses to stay underground. Luna narrates from a single point of stillness, her voice a low flame in the dark, guiding you through each burial site with the care of a reluctant archaeologist. There is no comfort at the end of these tales, only the lingering sense that the ground beneath your own feet may hold a secret you were never meant to find. Some lights flicker. Some never turn on again.

  • The Man Who Found the Lockbox at the Bryant Mill Bridge — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/08
Summer of 1991, early evening on the Bryant Mill Bridge in Cutter's Hollow. A man named Edwin Parrish finds a rusted lockbox tucked under the bridge's eastern span. Inside: a single key, a photograph of a girl who looks like someone he knew in high school, and a note that reads 'She was the first. Don't open the root cellar at the old Pruitt place.' Edwin can't let it go. He drives out to the Pruitt farm that same night, finds the root cellar door under a pile of dead leaves, and uses the key. What he sees in the lamplight is not a body. It's not a room. It's a pattern of scratches on the concrete floor that look like they were made by someone counting down from a very large number. And the scratches are fresh. This is a story about curiosity, the smell of wet earth after rain, and the feeling of being watched from a place that should have been empty for thirty years.

  • The Paper Girl at the Overpass on Route 9 — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/07
In the autumn of 2011, Luna took a wrong turn near the town of Wisp Hollow, Ohio, and found herself parked under the derelict overpass on Route 9. A girl in a yellow raincoat was standing on the gravel shoulder, holding a stack of newspapers that looked decades old. Luna stopped to ask for directions, but the girl kept offering her a paper—a paper that carried a headline from a date that hadn't come yet, about a flood that would wipe the town off the map in six months. The girl's name was Margot. She had died on that same overpass in 1987, waiting for a ride that never came. Luna took the paper and drove away, but when she looked in the rearview, the girl was still standing there, and her mouth was moving, spelling out a number—a countdown. Every night since, Luna has dreamed of water rising through the floorboards of her car, and the girl's hand pressing a wet newspaper against the glass. She has six months left, or maybe Margot does. The paper is still on the passenger seat, and the ink is starting to bleed.

  • The Dolls in the Attic at 117 Sycamore — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/06
Luna recounts a summer night in 1998 in the small town of Ashburton, Ohio. She and her friend Leo break into an abandoned house at 117 Sycamore Street, lured by rumors of a secret attic room. Inside, they find hundreds of handmade dolls, each one a perfect replica of a missing child from the town's history. The dolls are arranged in a circle, facing a small wooden chair. As they try to leave, they realize the dolls have moved. The episode ends with Luna alone in the dark, a single doll in her hands, whispering a name that sounds like her own.
