Ode to Joybuzzer. Steve Tanski and Jon Aley join Dave on this one (drummer Mike Tanski was missing in action but is a monster on the kit). Three of the most talented musicians you have possibly never heard of. Songs written and recorded in the basement like all music should be. Both of these guys started a long time ago. Jon in Those Melvins, a band that reached pretty nice peaks in the CT scene. Opening for Sinead O'Connor, Hoodoo Gurus, The Connells, NRBQ and not opening but a 4 band bill at Wetlands with a duo that they claimed was the worst band ever called Ween. Jon also went on to be in original Zambonis for about 16 years. Steve played as a kid and came from an incredible musical family. A guitar wiz kid he started in the 70's and in 1982 found himself in a band with Cheetah Chrome from The Dead Boys. A few bands later he joined Those Melvins & eventually Joy Buzzer is born. From 2002 to this day an integral part of The Zambonis. Oh yeh, we play some great music on this show too. Thanks for listening.

AUSTRALIAN AUDIO INVASION WAS IN PLAY. SUCH SPECIAL GUEST! Dave's Storied Sounds featured Aussie Indie Rockers Radio Free Alice. Noah and Jules picked a bunch of songs including some of their own and songs ferom the Melbourne scene/their contemporaries. Dave also declared happily that this would be AN ALL AUSTRALIAN PLAYLIST (besides the opening Kinks track titled "Australia") It was tough not to cave for at least one New Zealand band. Did Dave cave? Listen in and see! The boys have a brand new single out and the new record comes out sooner than later. Every year WPKN does a BOD DYLAN BIRTHDAY BASH fundraiser. This year in the middle of Brendan Toller and Herman Olivera's three hour shift Dave Schneider popped in with a surprise performance and fundraising idea. He asked OLD BOB (Brian Anderson and Chris Cavaliere) to play any song from Mr Dylan's catalogue for $100 donation. Things went swimmingly and Dave even had to join in on a very blurry version of "Visions Of Johanna". It was a blast and Chris and Brian absolutely slayed it.

Dave plays what he thinks is some damn good cuts and speaks to man who is taking the slow road to music domination in the Amherst area and beyond, Skeg Kendall. He has a new record out and his past has been one of Dave's faves. Lifeboat, a band he had with legendary producer Gary Smith (Pixies, Blake Babies, Billy Bragg, Scrawl) Brothers Kendall and Tacklebox were all solid and sweet. Listen in!
