What if “judge not” is one of the most quoted—and most misunderstood—commands Jesus ever gave?

In this episode, host Kyle addresses the widespread misuse of Matthew 7:1–5. Too often, "judge not" is thrown out to shut down accountability or avoid uncomfortable truths. But a closer look at the Sermon on the Mount reveals that Jesus wasn't banning critical thinking or moral evaluation—He was targeting self-righteous hypocrisy.

Through this verse-by-verse bible study, you'll learn to identify the difference between judging someone's eternal destiny (which belongs to God alone) and discerning spiritual fruit. Kyle shares practical wisdom from Galatians 6 and Romans 14 on how to examine your own heart first, drop personal preferences, and approach others with the gentle care required for restoration. If you are pursuing spiritual growth or want a clear old testament and new testament explanation of true accountability, this study offers the exact bible teaching you need.
