What if the reason you still feel empty is because you’re drinking from the wrong source?
You can love God, serve in church, worship, stay busy, and still find yourself spiritually dry. You can experience moments of God’s presence and still wonder why the thirst inside you hasn’t gone away. Jesus spoke directly to that kind of thirst. “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
In this message, you’ll be challenged to look at what you’re using to satisfy your soul. Relationships, success, possessions, accomplishments, busyness, and even religious activity can never provide what only God can give. The Bible describes these substitutes as broken cisterns. They may look like sources of satisfaction, but they cannot hold what your soul is truly searching for.
If you’ve been feeling spiritually dry, disconnected, tired, or hungry for something deeper, this message is for you. God isn’t asking you to manufacture your own satisfaction. He is inviting you to come to Him. His presence is the source.
His Spirit is the living water. And what He puts inside you is meant to flow through you. Stop drinking from broken cisterns. Come back to the Fountain of Living Water. If this message speaks to where you are, don’t just listen and move on.
Take a moment to respond to God. Bring Him your thirst, your emptiness, your disappointment, and your hunger for more of Him. Come to Him. Drink. And let the river flow.
