On this episode of Stick to Wrestling, 98.5 The Sports Hub’s James “Jimmy” Stewart breaks down a wild week in WWE — starting with Friday’s SmackDown from Mexico City, where Sami Zayn dethroned CM Punk in a chaotic Undisputed WWE Championship main event. Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Kevin Owens all got involved. The finish was messy. The title changed hands. And Zayn is a two-time champion after a nine-day first reign that he has not let anyone forget. Then the focus shifts to Monday’s Raw, also from Mexico City, where Roman Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Penta. The Mexican Destroyer vs. The OTC. A hometown-style crowd. A title match WWE has been building for weeks through a luchador tournament. Stewart unpacks whether this is a showcase or a real threat to Reigns’ reign.Plus: the backstage layer. WWE President Nick Khan just called Triple H the best creative mind in all of wrestling and said the company cannot live and die by social media. Publicly, it’s a united front. Privately, the question hanging over Stamford is whether business priorities and creative vision are always pulling in the same direction — and what that means for title pictures that keep flipping, talent getting squeezed into big-city specials, and who actually has the last word when a finish goes off the rails.Hot takes. Boston energy. No kayfabe required.

I’ll pull recent AEW All In details and any Cody Rhodes–Paul Heyman talk so the description stays accurate.James Stewart breaks down why All Elite Wrestling still matters in 2026, recaps AEW All In: London from Wembley Stadium, and looks ahead to a potential Cody Rhodes–Paul Heyman pairing in WWE.

On this episode of Stick to Wrestling, James starts with the bigger picture: why AEW remains essential to the industry. From stadium shows and long-form booking to new champions and surprise debuts, he argues that a healthy AEW keeps wrestling competitive, creative, and unpredictable.

Then he recaps All In in London. Will Ospreay finally beats Kenny Omega in a bloody Wembley main event to become AEW World Champion. Mercedes Moné dethrones Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Darby Allin wins the TNT Title, Okada takes the International Championship, Cage and Cope retain the tag titles, and Kofi and Austin Creed debut as The New Level and walk out as Trios Champions with Swerve Strickland. James hits the highs, the chaos, and what it all means heading into All Out.

He closes by looking across the aisle at WWE, where Cody Rhodes quoting Paul Heyman has the wrestling world buzzing. James unpacks why a Rhodes–Heyman alliance could be the next great character reset — and why the Wiseman always seems to find his next guy at exactly the right time.
