While filming a paranormal investigation in Saginaw, Michigan, Steve Shippy found himself repeatedly drawn to a beautiful but ominous nineteenth-century mansion. One detail was particularly difficult to ignore: the burgundy awning above the entrance that simply read Funeral Home.

When Steve finally contacted the owner, he learned that the house had a disturbing history, and that the family who purchased it had experienced things so frightening they eventually abandoned their home.

Paranormal investigator, award-winning documentary filmmaker, television host, and recording artist Steve Shippy, creator of the Haunted Saginaw film series, host of Haunting in the Heartland, and featured in Paranormal Caught on Camera, joins Stories with Saint to recount what happened when he and his crew entered the property. What began as an investigation into the unexplained became an encounter with a danger none of them anticipated.

This episode is part of our October guest-story series, featuring strange true stories from friends in the paranormal and unexplained before Season 2 begins.

Coming this November: Steve's new film, A Haunting on the Saginaw River: The Gray Ghost.
