概要

Are you ready to make Bible study a priority? Would you love to be more familiar with the stories and passages in scripture? Do you long to connect with God and strengthen your faith?

Friend, you are in the right place. This podcast will help you understand your Bible, apply verses to your life, and become more confident with the who, where, and why in scripture

Hi, I’m Angie. I’m a pastor and Bible teacher. For years, even though I knew God loved me, I still dealt with defeating doubts about my value and purpose. It wasn’t until I began deeply studying the Bible that I experienced a heart transformation that allowed me to recognize the lies of the enemy that kept me stuck in shame and defeat. Studying scripture allowed me to stand firm on God’s promises that offer peace, joy, hope, and rest. I created a Step By Step Bible study method that teaches you to find life application in one word of scripture, and I will share it with you in these episodes.

If you crave a deep dive into scripture…

Bible study tools you can trust…

And a method designed to equip you to study with confidence…

Then, pull up a seat at our table, open your heart, and prepare to hear God speak directly to you.

    2026/04/29

The Spirit fills, empowers, and guides His people.

Pentecost is often remembered for dramatic images such as rushing wind, tongues of fire, and bold preaching. But at the heart of the story in Acts 2:4 is a quieter and deeply powerful truth: “They were filled with the Holy Spirit.”

In this episode, Angie continues the journey through the Christian calendar by stepping into the season of Pentecost, a season of growth. Rooted in Acts 2, this conversation slows down to reveal the Holy Spirit as the breath, presence, and power of God working within His people.

What you’ll hear in this week’s episode

    • What the season of Pentecost represents in the Christian calendar
    • The connection between the Old Testament Feast of Pentecost and the outpouring of the Spirit in Acts 2
    • Why the Holy Spirit’s filling is both a gift we receive and a daily practice of walking in God’s power
    • How the Spirit provides guidance, clarity, and strength in everyday moments
    • The reminder that the Holy Spirit is our Helper—present with us and within us always

    2026/04/22

He is risen, and that changes your everyday.

We often think of resurrection as a future promise, something waiting for heaven. But Easter reminds us that resurrection power is not only for someday. It is for today.

In this episode, Angie continues the journey through the Christian calendar by stepping into the season of Easter, a 50-day celebration of resurrection, renewal, and new life. Rooted in Matthew 28:6, this conversation invites us to see that when Jesus rises, He awakens us into purposeful, forward-moving life.

What you’ll hear in this week’s episode

    • What the season of Easter celebrates in the Christian calendar
    • The difference between resuscitation and resurrection, and why it matters
    • Why we often long for what was, while God invites us into what will be
    • The three responses to resurrection hope: believe, share, and rejoice
