  • Ep. 40: Christian Character - Leading by Example
    2026/09/13

Whether you realize it or not, someone is watching the way you live. What kind of example are you leaving behind?

Leadership isn't limited to pastors, business owners, coaches, or people with impressive titles. Parents, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and everyday followers of Christ influence others through their words, choices, attitudes, and actions. The question isn't simply whether we have influence—it's whether our influence is pointing people toward Jesus.

Episode 40 explores what it means to lead by example and why our everyday lives can become one of the most powerful testimonies of our faith. Jesus didn't simply teach compassion, forgiveness, humility, and service—He demonstrated them. His words and actions were perfectly aligned, giving us the ultimate example of authentic leadership.

Leading by example happens most often in ordinary moments: showing patience during conflict, choosing honesty when compromise would be easier, keeping our commitments, serving without recognition, admitting when we're wrong, and remaining faithful during difficult seasons. We won't lead perfectly, but as our lives increasingly reflect Christ, our example can encourage others to follow Him more closely.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • Why everyone has the ability to influence and lead others through their example

    • How character and integrity build lasting credibility

    • Why Jesus is the ultimate model of leading through both words and actions

    • How ordinary daily choices can have an extraordinary influence on others

    • Why consistency between our public and private lives matters

    • How humility, admitting mistakes, and seeking forgiveness strengthen our influence

    • Why our response to adversity can become one of our strongest testimonies

    Key Scriptures:

    • 1 Timothy 4:12

    • Matthew 5:16

    • 1 Corinthians 11:1

    • John 13:12–15

    • Philippians 2:3–5

If this episode challenges you to become a stronger example of Christlike character for the people around you, be sure to follow the Steadfast Fortitude Podcast, leave a review, and share it with someone who wants their influence to point others toward Jesus.

  • Ep. 39: Christian Character - Becoming Dependable
    2026/09/13

What makes someone a person you can truly count on?

Dependable people aren't necessarily the loudest, most talented, or most recognized. They're the people who show up, keep their word, follow through on commitments, and remain faithful when circumstances become difficult. In a world where promises are easily broken and responsibilities are often abandoned, dependability is a powerful reflection of Christian character.

Episode 39 explores what Scripture teaches about becoming dependable and why faithfulness in small things matters so much to God. Throughout the Bible, we see ordinary people like Noah, Ruth, and Daniel faithfully carrying out their responsibilities long before they could see how God would use their obedience. Their consistency became part of their testimony.

Dependability isn't built through one impressive moment. It's developed through hundreds of ordinary choices—keeping promises, completing responsibilities, showing up for others, working diligently, and honoring commitments even when we don't feel motivated. As followers of Christ, our faithfulness should ultimately reflect the character of the God who is always faithful to us.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • Why faithfulness in small responsibilities prepares us for greater ones

    • What Noah, Ruth, and Daniel teach us about dependable character

    • How our dependability can reflect God's own faithfulness

    • Why trust is built through consistent actions over time

    • How to remain faithful when motivation and emotions change

    • Why finishing well is just as important as starting well

    • How honesty and responsibility should guide us when we can't fulfill a commitment

    Key Scriptures:

    • Luke 16:10

    • Lamentations 3:22–23

    • Luke 22:42

    • Colossians 3:23

    • 2 Timothy 4:7

If this episode encourages you to become someone others can trust and depend upon, be sure to follow the Steadfast Fortitude Podcast, leave a review, and share it with someone who wants to develop a life marked by faithfulness and consistency.

  • Ep. 38: Christian Character - Persevering Through Trials
    2026/09/13

How do you keep moving forward when life becomes difficult?

Trials are an unavoidable part of life. Some arrive suddenly through loss, disappointment, or unexpected change. Others unfold slowly through seasons of waiting, uncertainty, unanswered prayers, or ongoing struggles. Scripture doesn't promise that following Christ will eliminate hardship—but it does teach us that God can use even our most difficult seasons to strengthen our faith and shape our character.

Episode 38 explores what the Bible teaches about persevering through trials and trusting God when we don't understand what He's doing. Through the experiences of Job, Joseph, David, and other faithful believers, we'll discover that perseverance doesn't mean pretending everything is fine. Biblical faith allows us to bring our pain, fears, questions, and disappointments honestly before God while continuing to trust His character and promises.

God doesn't waste our suffering. Scripture shows us how trials can produce perseverance, perseverance can develop character, and character can strengthen hope. Even when we can't see what God is doing, we can remain confident that He is present, sovereign, and able to bring purpose from our most difficult seasons.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • Why Scripture teaches that trials can strengthen rather than destroy our faith

    • What Job teaches us about remaining faithful while wrestling with pain and unanswered questions

    • How suffering can produce perseverance, character, and hope

    • What Joseph's story reveals about God's ability to bring purpose from hardship

    • Why seasons of waiting aren't necessarily wasted seasons

    • How focusing on today's faithfulness can help us face tomorrow's uncertainty

    • Why Christian community is so important when we're walking through difficult seasons

    Key Scriptures:

    • James 1:2–4

    • Romans 5:3–5

    • Genesis 50:20

    • Matthew 6:34

    • Job 1:20–22

If this episode encourages you to keep trusting God through whatever trial you're facing, be sure to follow the Steadfast Fortitude Podcast, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs encouragement to keep taking the next faithful step.
