It’s all about control, making it extremely difficult for the average person to simply be autonomous regarding their health and what they eat. The toxicity at the grocery store is just a symptom. The root is consolidation of power on such a level that brings us to the point that if the bureaucrats feel there is harm to the public in the form of toxins or disease, all that matters is the result: more control. Today Mary welcomes back Trey Dellinger to talk about Wisconsin’s Governor Evers’ “Capitol capitulation” in vetoing AB 105, designed to protect our kids from online adult content. Evers vetoed this bill that was passed by the Republican legislature requiring all porn online users to give ID to prove age. Being the first governor to veto such protective legislation, residents should be extremely disappointed in this partisan upsmanship. The reasons he gives regarding protecting the ID of the users hardly shows a genuine concern for the minds and hearts of our kids. We also discuss some of the other ways to protect our kids online. After giving his life to Christ during a Chicago revival meeting, he immediately immersed himself into evangelism and the study of Scripture, graduating with both a B.S. and M.A. in Pastoral Theology/Christian Education. Early in his ministry, Rich traveled with Evangelist Joe Boyd and preached in various churches and venues, including Chicago’s Pacific Garden Mission. Upon college graduation and ordination, Rich and his wife, Valori, moved to Milwaukee, WI to church plant. After the church plant was successfully merged with another, Rich joined the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office to support his young family, while simultaneously serving as an Assistant Pastor. He is currently the pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church just south of Milwaukee and an in-demand speaker. Today we chat about the rampant lawlessness in our nation and how we got here politically and prophetically. With the rise in both colon cancer and dementia among people far too young to worry about such things, fingers are being pointed at our chemical-riddled foods. Not just fast foods but anything in a package. Processed foods, those can be minimally processed with the addition of just water and salt, for instance. Canned veggies, tuna, that sort of thing. But UPFs, those have become way more prevalent on our shelves and have wreaked havoc on our health around the world. We have stopped reading labels it seems, because UPFs are associated with over 30 different chronic health conditions. What are some of the ingredients in UPFs? Seed oils, chemical names we cannot pronounce, sweeteners, salt, emulsifiers, thickeners, “flavor” and “color” enhancers – all that and more are causing inflammation and obesity in astonishing numbers. As wives and moms, we understand our unique placement in the home to see to it that our pregnancies, our kiddos, ourselves, and our mates are as healthy as possible, an important calling.
