This is the first episode in what we hope will be a regular feature every half-term. The podcast features the learning experiences of the children and teaching staff from Year 6 of St Thomas The Martyr Church of England Primary School, Up Holland, Lancashire, England. All the content has been devised and produced by the children and teaching staff.
In this episode, we share our experiences of our residential school trip to Tower Wood Outdoor Education Centre, based in the Lake District. We stayed there from 13-15 September 2023, and it's a trip that all Year 6 children have the opportunity to go on. During the stay, we have a go at climbing, caving, kayaking and many other outdoor activities. We hope that, by listening to this, children in Year 5 and below can learn how exciting it is! We also hope that all parents realise how great a time we had, thanks to the wonderful guidance of the teaching staff and Tower Wood instructors. Thank you to the school for giving us the opportunity.
