A DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:The hymn tune by Thomas Hastings, who died on this date in 1872 is memorable. When we hear it, we recall the words of the hymn, "Rock of Ages," and the comfort and hope it provides as we continue these Great Fifty Days of Easter. Christ is the Rock, who shed His blood for our cleansing forgiveness.

For All the Faithful Women

A DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: As we anticipate this weekend, Good Shepherd Sunday, I recall the 23rd Psalm. Although most of us are unfamiliar with sheep, many of us have pets...especially dogs. Our dog, Lizzy, certainly knows that she is cared for. She has no wants other than regular meals and walks outside. So, we also have a Good Master, Jesus, who leads us and provides for us, especially through the forgiveness of sins and the certainty of eternal life. May you celebrate His care continually.
