Good morning, weather watchers! It's your friendly neighborhood meteorologist here with the holiday forecast that's about as mixed as your family's annual Christmas dinner conversation. Let's dive right in! Tonight, we're looking at a rainy situation with patchy fog and temperatures dipping down to a chilly 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Santa might want to bring an umbrella instead of a sleigh tonight! Christmas Day brings more of the wet stuff, with rain likely before noon and drizzle hanging around until early afternoon. Temperatures will crawl up to a slightly warmer 46 degrees Fahrenheit with light southeast winds around 3 to 7 miles per hour. As we roll into the next few days, it's basically going to be a wet weather party. Thursday looks like a soggy affair with drizzle in the morning and rain in the afternoon, climbing to a mild 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Thursday night brings a 90 percent chance of rain, because Mother Nature clearly wants to make sure everyone's holiday plans involve indoor activities. Friday warms up to near 59 degrees Fahrenheit with continued rain chances, and the weekend follows suit with a 40 percent chance of rain on Saturday and a slight chance of thunderstorms Saturday night. By Sunday, we'll get a bit of a break with partly sunny skies and temperatures around 56 degrees Fahrenheit. Next week looks similarly unsettled, with temperatures hovering in the 40s and 50s and periodic rain chances.
