Raiders’ key players Brock Bowers and Darien Porter are both day-to-day heading into Sunday’s game, with Bowers recovering from knee surgery and Porter sidelined by a foot injury. While reports suggest Bowers could return as early as Week 4 against the Chiefs, the team is taking a cautious approach to avoid setbacks. Backup tight end Michael Mayer and rookie Zeke Masses stepped in during their absences, giving the Raiders depth. Coach Klint Kubiak remains optimistic they’ll be back on the field, but the focus is on safe recovery — and keeping an eye on their status all week.

Miami Dolphins rookie Kyle Louis goes down with an MCL sprain in Week 1, forcing him to IR and prompting a quick move to promote cornerback Jaylin Simpson from the practice squad. The Dolphins now focus on healing Louis and integrating Simpson to stabilize their defense as they try to bounce back from a tough opening loss.
