In Today's Episode!

In today's episode, a short-order cook sees three creatures holding a sparking wand on the side of a road in 1955.

Seventeen years later, two cops see something on the same stretch of river. One of them shoots it three times and it sticks its tongue out at him. He spends the next fifty years telling two different stories about what it was, and each version makes less sense than the last.

His partner, before he died, disagreed with both. Then a Pokémon Go player finds the monster again in 2016. Ohio is now one vote away from making it the first legally recognized state cryptid in U.S. history.

But the roads all lead back to the same place, the villagers all share the same smile, and in the attic, there are notebooks filled with things he shouldn't have known before they ever met. Thanks to Alex Wilson for letting us read his story, "I Moved to a French village for a man I met online. In 1961, Joe Simmonton, a plumber, chicken farmer, and the town Santa Claus of Eagle River, Wisconsin, had a close encounter of the third kind. Three Italian-looking aliens in a chrome flying saucer cooked him buckwheat pancakes on a flameless grill in exchange for some basement water. We cover Joe's incredibly chill reaction, how the US Air Force, Project Blue Book, and the FDA got involved to analyze the pancakes, and the mysterious B-47 bomber crashes that happened shortly after.Subscribe to these!• Main Channel ► https://www.youtube.com/@oompaville• Side Channel ► https://youtube.com/@oompayt• Candy Channel ► https://youtube.com/@sourboysggFollow these!• Insta ► https://instagram.com/oompavilleig/• Twitter ► http://twitter.com/oompavilleMy Co-Host Clint!• Insta ► https://instagram.com/clintmondo• Twitter ► https://twitter.com/RealClintMondoThe Team:Producer ► Jon (https://instagram.com/jonfrie)Writer ► Satchel ( @Skatchel )Editor ► Squeaky (https://instagram.com/niekhag)Video Chapters:0:00 Welcome to Spooky Skeletons1:25 The 1961 Pancake Incident3:11 Who is Joe Simmonton?5:30 The Flying Saucer Appears9:32 Inside the Craft11:50 Trading Basement Water14:44 How We'd React to Aliens16:02 Physics of Exotic Propulsion17:42 Interdimensional Bigfoot & Coverups21:28 Joe Tastes the Pancake25:36 Seeking Help from the Judge26:30 NICAP Refuses to Investigate32:16 Project Blue Book Gets Involved34:55 FDA Analyzes the Pancake35:46 Mysterious B-47 Bomber CrashesBusiness Inquiries ► brands@sour.gg#oompaville #toolateshow #spookyskeletonspod

We're covering three of the strangest creatures ever reported. The Vegetable Man of Grant Town West Virginia, a seven foot tall plant creature with vine arms. The Crawfordsville Monster, an 18 foot screaming white sky beast with one flaming eye. And the Trunko, a 47 foot headless white furred sea creature that ACTUALLY washed up on a beach in South Africa in 1924...

In Today's Episode!

On the night of September 5th, 1964, a welder from a classified missile program got stranded alone in a pine tree in the Tahoe National Forest. What showed up beneath that tree wasn't a bear. Two humanoid figures in silvery suits stood below him... cooing like doves. Then a robot with glowing red eyes and an oven door mouth shot white vapor up into the tree and knocked him unconscious. He fought back with arrows, burning clothes, and loose change for twelve hours until dawn. His coworker saw the craft from a mile away. The Air Force investigated it. And when they went back to the site weeks later... someone had raked the forest floor clean.

In Today's Episode!

In 1973, two guys went fishing on a Mississippi river and came back with a story that ruined both their lives. They told the sheriff that three gray creatures with lobster claws floated them into a craft and scanned their bodies. The sheriff didn't believe them... so he secretly recorded them when he left the room. On the tape, one of them wept and begged God for help. The other said he was about to have a heart attack. 52 years later, that tape is still the most compelling piece of evidence in the case.
